I felt guilty lying there in bed next to her. I also felt sick my stomach filling with air. When she touched me I tried to fantasize that it was Maryann, Ginger, Farrah, even Joan Jett. While the Steelers continue to practice from now until June 10th, and all the focus seems to be on when Ben Roethlisberger will be allowed to return to the team, I want to discuss the Steeler running game. The performance of the run game this coming season will likely dictate how far the Steelers go, if they do go to the playoffs.

Although past his prime, Owens is a good fit on the field for the Steelers. And in retrospect, Owens may have an attitude, but he keeps it on the field. The Rooney family won't have to worry about managing him like most people would think. Rumors also place him in Oakland, so that is likely the death knell to him wearing a Steeler Jersey and lining up in the slot position. I can't see the Steelers being interested in anyone that is a fit in Oakland.

Limas Sweed, one of the more recent disappointments to come from the Steeler's drafts, cleared waivers and was placed on IR after surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon. Coming into the Steelers 3 day minicamp with a positive attitude after last season's poor performance, it seemed like a great story about to develop.

Me: Bayley, you need to start eating your spaghetti.
Bayley age 5: I`m not hungry.
Me: Do you want some cake?
Bayley: Yes!
Me: So you are hungry, now eat.
Bayley: Can I have some cake?
Me: When you are done eating your spaghetti.
(3 minutes later)
Me: Bayley, you promised me you would start trying new foods. You can`t just eat chicken nuggets and fries all the time. So you better eat.
(1 minute later)
Me: Bayley, come on. Just take a bite. If you don`t like it you can spit it out.
Bayley: I don`t like it.
Me: You never tried it. You used to love spaghetti when you were little. And I even let you pick out the spaghetti at the store.
(1 minute later)
Me: Look, Bayley, Tristen is eating his dinner. Just try it . . . Okay, I didn`t want to tell you this. (whispered) If you don`t eat at least a little bite I am going to have to take you to the hospital. They are going to have to give you three shots. You will get one in the middle of your eye, one in the ear and one in your belly. Do you really want to do that?
(pause)
Me: Where do you think you are going?
Bayley: I am going to get my shoes.
